Thinking of our childhood, you, Mary and I playing indoors, outdoors, on the front porch of your house on Fremont St. I could ride my bike the short few blocks or sleep over to play or watch TV and board games on rainy days or just making silly games up. My childhood pal, always safe at your house with lunches of deli meat on white bread with mayo--seemed so much better than at my house. We could recite the dialog of every Bugs Bunny cartoon. Those days seemed to last forever, always summer. My deputy to your sheriff, Tonto to your Lone Ranger while Mary was our princess etc. As we all grew older those memories are in my heart so often, and today more than ever.
