Jodi was one in a million. We were instant friends as soon as we me; she was in 7th grade, I was in 8th. I remember when we would want to go to Indian Springs mall; her mom would let us borrow her car, I got to drive, because I was 16, Jodi was still 15! My very first vacation, without my family, was with Jodi! We went to Brandon, Mo.in her yellow Volkswagen. I think each of us maybe had $100, but we made it stretch! We lost touch for several years, and I was so happy to reunite on Facebook. I have pages and pages of personal messages, I will always treasure. Now my heart is broken because she has went home; at the same time I am so happy for her! She is reaping her rewards for all the good she did here on earth! I love and admire you, Jodi Shelton!
