Obituary for Tina Sue Heriford (Dunkin)

Tina Sue Heriford, 79 of Lansing, KS passed away on Sat. Sept. 7, 2019 at her home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, and Funeral Services will be at 7 pm, both on Wed., Sept. 11, 2019 at the Alden - Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Phoenix Hospice in care of the funeral home. Tina was born March 5, 1940 in Urbanna, MO and graduated from the Bonner Springs High School in 1958, she married shortly there after and had 6 children. She raised her family and lived most of her adult life in the Bonner Springs area. She was an avid quilter and very good at crochet. She loved crafts in general and was quite an artist. She was a dog lover and loved her grandchildren most of all. She was a christian. She was preceded in death by three siblings Jesse Dunkin, Loretta Simpson and Wanda Sutton. And is survived by her six children Pam Blackmer and her husband Gary of Tonganoxie, KS; David Shuler and his wife Rita of Bonner Springs, KS; Ruth Keith and her husband Darrell of Kansas City, KS; Lydia Koenig and her husband Jeff of Overland Park, KS; Steve Shuler and his wife Angela of Kansas City, MO and Frank Shuler and his wife Susan of Raymore, MO. Four siblings Donald Dunkin of Versailles, MO; Betty Sutton of Tracy, CA; Peggy Barnes of Bonner Springs, KS and Ruth Whitmill of Lansing, KS. Thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
