Taylor “Bid” Allen Ray, age 22, of Basehor, Kansas and previously of Kansas City, KS went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2018. Memorial Service 11am Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Basehor.

Taylor was born on Oct. 27, 1995 in Merriam, Kansas. He grew up and attended schools in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School in the Class of 2014. In his youth he was active in Boy Scouts and proud to have achieve Eagle Scout, with Troop #45 – Bethel Presbyterian. Taylor was an avid Outdoorsman and loved to Hunt, Fish and Target Shoot. He had worked at FedEx, UPS, and most recently at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Survivors include his son Brandon Ray, his parents Aaron & Marcy Ray, his siblings Tyler Ray & Fiancée Kelly, Tanner Ray, all of the home. Paternal Grandparents Frank & Fran Ray of Linwood, KS., Maternal Grandparents Tom & Kathy Mitchell of Shawnee, KS., as well as several extended family and friends.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Aaron & Marcy Ray, in Taylor’s Honor, for his son Brandon’s Education Fund. Those can be dropped off at the Service or Mailed to the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
