Muriel E. Musick Gabel, age 82 of Tonganoxie, Kansas passed away Sunday August 4th, 2013 at her home while surrounded by her family. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday August 7, at the Glenwood Cemetery in Basehor, KS. Visitation will be from 10-11 prior to the graveside service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Tonganoxie Christian Church in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.

Muriel was born on April 23, 1931 in Wyandotte County, Kansas. She was a member of the Tonganoxie Christian Church. Muriel was preceded in death by her husband Randall Paul Musickand by two grandchildren; Jennifer Musick and Michael Wiehe. Survivors include one son Roy Musick of Leavenworth, KS., 3 daughters Carol Prater and husband Dick of Linwood, KS., Judith Johnson of Pleasanton, KS. and Paula Wiehe – Schlonga and husband Keith of Easton, KS., 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. One brother Jim Baker and wife Kay of Olympia, WA., one sister Patsy Dobson of Kansas City, KS., as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
