James S. Kornhaus, age 79 of Basehor, Kansas died on December 11, 2018 at home. Memorial service will be 5:00 PM, December 28, 2018 at the Basehor United Methodist Church in Basehor, KS, visitation will follow the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Basehor United Methodist Church.
Jim was born on April 13, 1939 in Orrville, OH. He was married to his wife, Barbara, for 55 years. He was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. Family was important to Jim. He was a member of the Basehor United Methodist Church and an active in the congregation. Survivors include: his wife Barbara Kornhaus; daughters - Ellen Guess, Karen Kelley and Sharon Kornhaus; grandchildren - Connor Kelley, Even Kelley, Anna (Guess) Broyles, Joel Guess, Laura Guess, Kyle White and Owen White; sister - Dorothy Burkholder and brother - Bill Kornhaus.
