Dolores Jean Pollock, age 79 of Edwardsville, Kansas passed away in Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9th at the Calvary Bible Church (518 W. Insley) in Bonner Springs, Kansas with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10-11a.m. prior to the service also at the church. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Calvary Bible Church in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.

Dolores was born on July 16, 1936 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She married Sherman “Brooks” Crawford, who served in the U.S. Air Force and together they raised their children, settling in Kansas City, Kansas. Later she married George Pollock and together they lived in Edwardsville, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil R. and Thelma Ruth (Chamberlin) Griffith and by all of her siblings; Barbara, Mary and Cecil Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, George Pollock of the home. Six children; Sherry Vannettan-Whiles of Edwardsville, KS., Belinda Norman and husband Philip of Louisburg, KS., Marla Ratliff and Husband Daryl of Riddleton, TN., Marlin Crawford and wife Carla of Basehor, KS., Shelia Williams and husband Eric of Kansas City, KS., and Buckley Crawford. Two step-children; Michael Pollock and wife Jamie of Buckner, MO and Amy Martin of Lee’s Summit, MO. 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
