Gracie Junita Daniels, age 95, of Bonner Springs, KS., passed away on July 28, 2017 at Providence Place. Visitation 11-1 and Funeral 1pm, both Tuesday, Aug. 1st at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Mrs. Daniels was born Feb. 20, 1922 in Wayton, Ark. and has been a long time resident of the Bonner Springs area. She loved her family and had many cherished friends that will all miss her greatly. She was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle in K.C., KS and loved the Lord and playing music at her church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Duster Daniels in 2001, one grandson Troy Daniels in 2016, a great grandson Matthew Edwards in 2015 and a great granddaughter Kellee Jo Stewart in 2008. She is survived by her six children Dwayne Daniels (Alberta) of K.C., KS; Vivian Reeves of Bonner Springs, KS; James Daniels (Shirley) of Easton, KS; Alice Gowin of Bonner Springs, KS; Patricia Davidson of K.C., KS and Junita Hanners (Steven) of Burlington, KS. One brother Remmel Taylor of Rogers, Ark. 12 grandchildren Tracy, Bruce, Mike, Stephanie, Tabitha, Steven, Tammy, Tina, Travis, Misty, Rusty and Cody. 41 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. The family also wanted to thank her special friend, Cheryl Elliott who she also thought of as a daughter who showed such special love and care for their Mom.
