Curtis “Buck” Lynch, age 72, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Visitation 10-11am, Funeral 11am, both Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS, burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Buck was born on Feb. 5, 1945 in Checotah, Oklahoma. He attended school in Miami, Oklahoma, Coolidge, Arizona and graduated from High School in Checotah, Oklahoma. Buck worked for Tobin Construction Company in Oklahoma and Kansas, then for Belger Cartage in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a lifetime member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 101. Buck was preceded in death by his parents Donald J. "Fat" and Cleva E. (Mowdy) Lynch both of Checotah, OK. Survivors include: his wife Rita (Overmon) Lynch of the home; two daughters Angela R. Lynch of Bonner Springs, KS and Leslie G. (Lynch) Heine and her husband Barry J. Heine of Eudora, KS; grandson Jay D. Heine of Eudora, KS; sister Donna C. (Lynch) Williams of Caddo, OK; and numerous other family members.
