Robert "Bob" Johnson, age 74, a lifetime resident of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away on Wednesday December 18, 2013. The family had a private visitation at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Bob was born on September 27, 1939 in Bonner Springs, KS., the oldest of three children born to Robert A. and Margaret E. (Steele) Johnson. Bob was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired from the local Laborers Union #1290. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Doris Johnson of the home, two sons Mike Johnson and wife Patti and Ron Johnson and wife Janice all of Bonner Springs, two sisters Sharon DeMaranville and husband Charlie and Marie Hansen, five grandchildren Chris, Hilary, Brett, Lindsey and Tyler, three great-grandchildren Haley, Makenzie and Riley.
