Marjorie Ardell Brown Burt, 87, passed away on Thurs, Jan. 12, 2017 in Fort Scott, KS. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 pm., Fri., Jan. 20, at the Edwardsville Cemetery. Marjorie was born July 30, 1929 in Sharon Springs, KS to Robert L. and Clara Nelson Brown. Marjorie was one of twelve children. She married Charles L. Burt Sept. 1, 1945 in Mound City. KS. Marjorie's husband passed away Sept. 24, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, nine brothers, two sons, Michael Dean Burt and Larry C. Burt Sr. Survivors include a daughter Connie Goodrich (Flint) of Auburn, KS; one brother Marion W. Brown of Abilene, KS. Six grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, including her special niece Randia Clements who cared for Marjorie the last years of her life.
