Lloyd V.  Chronister
Lloyd V. Chronister, age 91, of Edwardsville, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home. Funeral Services will be 11am Thursday, May 26th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service also at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 10:45am.

Lloyd was born on March 2, 1925 in Sharon, Kansas. He had lived in Edwardsville most of his life. Lloyd attended the Edwardsville High School. He was a Quartermaster in the U.S. Army and served during WWII. Lloyd was also a Mason and proud member of the Delaware Lodge for over 50 years and had worked at Harbor Bros. Construction for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Pauline, stepson Ed Miller, grandson Vernon Miller, siblings Allene, Everett, John and Ralph. Survivors include his grandson Chris (Jennifer) of Edgerton, KS., granddaughter Erin Schuler of the home, stepson Paul Miller of Peoria, IL., grandson Matt (Amanda) of Bartonville, IL., Rachel (Tony) Berry of Washington, IL., granddaughter Dustie Miller of Pleasanton, KS., 12 great-grandchildren and his beloved dog Brownie.
