Obituary for Kristen Margaret Hall

Kristen Margaret  Hall
Kristen Margaret Hall, age 51, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7th at the Elm Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening also at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Gospel Light Christian School, both in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.

Kristen was born on October 25, 1963 in St. Joseph, Missouri the third of four children born to Charles and Barbara Hall. Kristen grew up in Lansing, Kansas and graduated from Bible Baptist Christian School in Bonner Springs in the class of 1982. She furthered her education at Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, IN where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in education. Kristen taught at State Line Christian School in Temperance, MI. for 15 years and then moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where she taught at Gospel Light Christian School. Kristen has a tremendous love of all children, her students, her several nephews and niece, and numerous great nieces and nephews, she tried to pass along her love of reading to all of those children. Another joy in her life was living on her Mountain in the Ouachita Mountain Range near Hot Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her three siblings; Jonathan Hall and wife Lauri of McLouth, KS., Jennifer Manthe and husband Joseph of Lansing, KS., and Timothy Hall and wife Ronda, of Kansas City, Mo., Several nephews, a niece, numerous great nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and students.
