James R. Mattivi, age 86 of Raytown, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Private memorial services will follow at a later date.

James was born on Jan. 6, 1929 in Novinger, MO. And was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. James retired from the General Motors Leeds Plant in Kansas City, MO., and in his retirement he enjoyed sharpening saw blades and breakfast with his buddies. James was preceded in death by his wife Meme Mattivi. Survivors include his daughter Chris Sifuentes-Futrell and husband Donald of Basehor, KS., and one grandson Christopher Sifuentes of Omaha, NE.
