Jon Henry Seufert, 54, of Bonner Springs KS passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Memorial services will be at 6:30 PM Wed., April 9, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Private burial to follow at a later date. Friends may call at the visitation from 5 to 6:30 PM Wed. evening, April 9, at the funeral home. The family suggests Memorial contributions to the American Legion Post # 199 in Kansas City, KS in care of the funeral home. Mr. Seufert was born on January 24, 1960 in Kansas City, KS and was a lifelong area resident. Jon was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 199 and graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, KS in 1978. He also attended the Kansas City Kansas Community College and the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Business. Jon enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and was an avid K.C. Chiefs fan. He had worked at Deluxe Corporation in Lenexa. He is survived by one brother Ron Seufert and his wife Edna of Iola, KS and two sisters Donna Rohner and her husband Randy of Bonner Springs, KS and Diane Price of Kansas City, MO. Seven nephews and three nieces, all who will miss him greatly.
