Walter David “Doc” Isley, was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Holt, MO to Milton and Minta Isley, He was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Navy after he graduated from High School. He and his wife Marcia created the Dr. Vinyl Company, a very successful vinyl and leather repair service that allowed him to retire at the age of 50 so he could enjoy his days with his friends, family, the Duck Club and Sunsets. His survivors include his wife of 63 years Marcia of the home, a daughter Lisa, and two sons Christopher and Dominc, Six granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends. Burial was in Leavenworth Veteran’s Administration National Cemetery with Military Honors. “Doc” passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 peacefully at his home Bonner Springs, KS. at 84 years of age.
