Virginia was born on April 6, 1932 in the Township of Fairmount, Leavenworth County, KS. She grew up in Basehor, KS and graduated from Basehor High School in 1950. She married Ralph Brigman in the First Baptist Church of Basehor, September 23, 1951. After farming for many years in Basehor, the family moved to Monroe, WA in 1969. She later moved to Everett, WA, then to Converse, TX in 2013 to be near her son and daughter-in-law, and youngest daughter in League City, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Josie Myrtle (Campbell) Farris and Marion Lester Farris; her son Ralph “Lynn” Brigman, Jr., wife Carolyn, and Granddaughter Laura Brigman; her 6 sisters: Naomi “Ruth” Warden, Anna Miller, Sylvia Morgan, Marion “Elvie” Warmbrodt, Celia “Elizabeth” Reiss, Delta Edwards; and brother Marion “Bud” Farris. Virginia was the youngest and last of the 8 siblings to depart this life.

Survivors include three of her children: Diane (Brigman) Kinney of Valdez, AK; Tamara (Brigman) Sennholtz of League City, TX; David Brigman and wife Fe of Converse, TX. Four Grandchildren: Christopher Kinney and wife Cora of Liberty Lake, WA; Robert Sennholtz, III and wife Katie of Santa Fe, TX; Ashley Kinney of Tulsa, OK; and Nicole Sennholtz of Houston, TX. Four Great-Grandchildren: Nolan and Ella Kinney, Peyton McCarty, and Paige Sennholtz. She also leaves behind very dear nieces and nephews, and their families.

The family is not planning a service at this time due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the difficulty of traveling and keeping everyone safe.
