Obituary for Travis M. Wright
Travis M. Wright, age 45, of Lecompton, KS and previously of Oskaloosa, KS passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Memorial Services are pending at this time.
Travis was born on Oct. 14, 1973 in Kansas City, KS and was the oldest of two sons born to Scott & Connie (Honeywell) Wright. Travis grew up in Oskaloosa and graduated from Oskaloosa High School in the class of 1992. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. After the Service he returned to Oskaloosa and had worked as a Superintendent of BRB Construction, owner-operator of Wright Custom Buildings and most recently he was working as a service technician with Pinnacle Propane in Lawrence, KS.
Travis was preceded in death by his father Scott Wright in 2013.
Survivors include his wife Lindsay Wright of the home, five children; Jordan and Scott Coates of Oskaloosa, Shelby Wright of Oskaloosa, Garrett Wright and Isabella Meyer of the home. His mother Connie Meyer and her husband GW of McLouth, KS, Siblings; Scottie Wright, Chris Calovich, Jamie Tickles, Katie Coates and Ginger Lawson. As well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
