Obituary for Thomas Ely "Tommy" McDaniel
Thomas Ely "Tommy" McDaniel, age 46, of Eudora, KS and previously of Basehor, KS passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. Thomas was born on Nov. 27, 1975 in Kansas City, KS to Harvey & Peggy McDaniel.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Basehor, KS and graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School in 1995. After High School, he pursued a career in Carpentry and joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
He is survived by his two children, Ava McDaniel and Adam McDaniel of Shawnee, KS; his parents, Harvey and Peggy McDaniel of Eudora, KS; his grandmother, Marjorie McGinnis of Fort Scott, KS; his sister Cassie Graves (Tommy) and nephew, Aiden Linaweaver of Lee’s Summit, MO.
Visitation for family and close friends will be Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Alden Harrington Family Event Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the education fund for his children in c/o Cassie Graves or GoFundMe-“Education Fund for Ava & Adam McDaniel”.
