Terry Lee Blanz, 66, of Bonner Springs, KS, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 28, 2019. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00pm, memorial service to follow at 7:00pm on Friday, June 7th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Terry (one of seven children) was born on October 29, 1952 in Bonner Springs, KS to Norma Jean and John F. Blanz. He was a lifelong Bonner Springs resident, a loyal employee and one of the faces of A-Sure Clean Inc. for the past 26 years. Terry was a devoted father, caring man, loving friend, generous neighbor, and respected by many. Additionally, he had a passion for motorcycles, his old truck and spending quality time with his great-nieces and great-nephews. Terry was the first to lend a helping hand and enjoyed helping anyone in need. During his earlier years, he was a carrier for the Kansas City Star.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra V. Blanz, his parents, Norma Jean and John F. Blanz, and his brothers, Johnny Blanz and Richard Blanz. Survivors include his son Michael (Deanna) Milton and children Bobby Milton and Ricky Milton. Siblings: Linda Behrent, Susan Baty, Denise Reedy, Gene Blanz, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as many friends and neighbors that he considered part of his family.
Terry will forever be missed, loved and respected.
