Obituary for Terrence Allan Lane
Terrence Allan Lane of Linwood, KS passed away on October 2nd, 2021 at the age of 68 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Terry was born on December 24, 1952 in Kansas City, MO. He attended Shawnee Mission North High School before serving in the Navy for 2 years. Terry worked for Sysco Corporation and retired early to spend his days doing what he wanted to do most. He loved talking on the phone to his grandson, Jacob, fishing at Sarcoxie Lake where he lived, watching the Chiefs and Jayhawks, tending to his lawn and playing bocce ball with friends. He was a simple man with a simple, happy life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth H. Lane and Jean (Breen) Lane and his older brother Stephen. Survivors include his daughter Jessica Weinstein her husband Michael and grandson Jacob. His three stepchildren: Micki, Robbie and Chris and five siblings: Ken (Barb), Martha (Frank), Tom (Margo), Connie and Karen (Bob).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
