Tammy Sue Henson, age 60, of Blue Springs, MO., went home to be with the Lord on August 3rd, 2021 at the Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Visitation will be from 10-11am with the Funeral at 11am, both Friday, August 13th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Tammy was born on March 27, 1961 in St. Joseph, MO., to Leonard & Clara Belle (Chambers) Henson. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. Tammy loved her Church and telling others about Jesus Christ. She was a woman of God and served him well. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Larry Paul Henson, infant sister Connie Jo Henson, sister Mary Jean Ortman, and brother Danny Ray Henson.
She leaves behind four children; son Jamie Sanderson, Jr., Son Jason Sanderson his wife Jenn and their children Julie, Jordan and Jenna, daughter Lisa Jean Sanderson and her children Ty, Josiah and Damian, Daughter Amy Worley and her husband David and their children Christian, Matthew, Danica, Kimber and Faith. She also leaves behind four brothers: Tom, Ernie, Mike and Larry, one sister Mary and all their families.
