Steven Douglas Meyer, 46, of Eudora, KS passed away on Mon., July 1, 2019. Visitation 10 to Noon, and Funeral at Noon on Mon., July 8, at LifeMission Church 16111 S. Lone Elm Rd. Olathe, KS burial to follow in Glenwood Cemetery near Basehor, KS. The family would like to invite those that can not attend the visitation and funeral to a Memorial service gathering at 6 pm, Mon. evening, July 8, at the Prairie View Family Church 27772 W. 135th St. Olathe, KS. Steven was born on Nov. 23, 1972 in Lawrence, KS and grew up in the Basehor, KS area graduating from Basehor High School in 1991. Steven was an accomplished Trim Carpenter and C.E.O. of Superior Trim for over 20 years. He was also an avid outdoors-man, a Member of the National Walleye Association and a successful Tournament Fisherman. Steven was a member of the LifeMission Church where he was involved in the Men's Leadership group. Steven is survived by his three children Logan Meyer, Cole D. Meyer and Charlee Meyer. His parents Gary and Cindy Meyer of Olathe, KS his Maternal Grandmother Leslie Shaughnessy of Louisburg, KS. One brother Matthew Meyer of Shawnee, KS; two sisters Katherine Johnson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Stephany Meyer of Overland Park, KS. His significant other Jessika Zemencik of Gardner, KS and his best (Four-legged) companion Toby Meyer. The family suggests memorial contributions to the children's education fund in care of the funeral home.
