Stella Mae Strickland, 93, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 Graveside Funeral Services will be 11am, Wed., October 19, 2022 at Lenape Cemetery near Bonner Springs, KS. Stella was born Sept. 19, 1929 in Flat Ridge, VA and moved to this area when she met and married her husband Don Strickland in 1953. She ;loved being a homemaker and gardener, she especially liked to mow with her push mower. She was a member and had attended the First Baptist Church of Basehor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Don Strickland in 2021. And survived by her daughter Darcus and her husband Jack of Bonner Springs, KS. One sister Mary Dunford of Independence, VA. Two grandchildren Kyle Blanz and his wife Stephanie and Mindy Isaacson and her husband Shelby all of Bonner Springs, KS. And five great grandchildren Ashley, Emma, Kyle Jr., Colt and Skyler.
