SHIRLEY A. VAN LUVAN
Shirley Ann Van Luvan, 74, of Warsaw, MO passed away at her home on Sat. Nov. 13, 2021. The family will receive friends at the visitation from 11 am to 1 pm, and the Funeral will be at 1 pm, both on Wednesday, November 17, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Shirley was born on April 22, 1947 in Crocker, MO and grew up in the Kansas City, MO area graduating from Westport High School in 1965. She then moved to Warsaw, where she operated a family business the Turn It Loose Bar. She also worked for many years at Dr. Marvin's Midtown Chiropractic as a secretary as as helping to operate C.V.L. and sons Roofing in Kansas City, KS. She never met a stranger but most important to her was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Ilene Murphy and her son Lloyd Wayne Murphy. Shirley is survived by her five children - John E. Murphy of Warsaw, MO; Christina L. Rank of Creighton, MO; Jeffrey C. Coe and his wife Daniele of Creighton, MO; Alisa I. Goforth and her husband Jason of Marion, MS and Jeremy L. Murphy and his wife Corinne of Independence, MO. Two brothers Larry and Paul Murphy both of Kansas City, KS and two sisters Deanie Kerr of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Grego of Lee's Summitt, MO. One daughter-in-law Tina Murphy. 27 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or the V.F.W.
