Obituary for Sherry Ann Richard (Moore)
Sherry Ann (Moore) Richard, age 56, of Shawnee, Kansas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2023, while at her home with her loving husband and Sister Maria by her side. Local Kansas City friends, family, and neighbors are invited to stop by their home for a reception on Saturday, May 6 anytime from 2-4 pm. A Celebration of Sherry’s Life will also be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 20 at The Summit Church, 1605 State Hwy 125 Rogersville, Missouri.

Sherry was born October 18, 1966, in Springfield, Missouri, and was the youngest of three children born to Dale and Margaret (Trotnic) Moore. She grew up in Springfield and graduated from Glendale High School in 1985. Sherry was a 1990 graduate of Drury College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While in high school she met the "love of her life" Marc Richard and they married on September 5, 1992, in Springfield. Together they made their home in Shawnee, Kansas. Years ago, Sherry worked at the cosmetics counter at Dillard’s at the Mission Mall in Mission, Kansas. She was very proud to recently join the Catholic Church as a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Shawnee. Sherry and Marc love their friends, family, and neighbors. Sherry loved dogs...especially her longtime companions Lola, Chloe, and Sammy.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and by her in-laws René and Lorraine Richard, to whom she was very close.
Survivors include her husband Marc Richard of the home; a sister Daleen Bauer and her husband Paul of Lampe, Missouri; a brother Alan Moore and Johna of Springfield; as well as extended family, friends, and neighbors they consider part of the family.
