SONNY THOMA
Sampson Sonny Thoma, 61, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on January 1, 2022. At Advent Health Shawnee Mission. Sonny was born on December 29,1960 in Kansas City, KS, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He lived a private life. So, if you were lucky enough to know him, then you knew what he wanted you to know about his life. He lived his life the way he wanted to, growing up with loving family and friends. Later in life having four children of his own. Then becoming a grandfather to eight, and a great grandfather to seven. He loved his family and friends, but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by, Father Charles Everidge, Mother Jay Everidge, Son Jason Gumm, and a Granddaughter Ashley Gumm.
He is survived by his daughters, Nina Ring (Gumm) of Bonner Springs KS, and her children, Christa Gumm of McLouth KS, and her children, son Zachary Thoma of Eldon MO.
Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Susanne Gumm, and her children, Brenden Gumm, and his children, Ashley’s children, and Gaven Gumm. His Birth mother, Stepmother, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thank you all for your many thoughts and prayers as we try and get through this tough time.
