Obituary for Sammie Ray Ingram

Sammie Ray Ingram, age 57, of the rural Bonner Springs and Linwood, Kansas areas passed away on Feb. 16th, 2019. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, Feb. 22 with the Funeral 10am Sat. Feb. 23rd, both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lenape Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kansas School of the Deaf.
Sammie was born on Jan. 3rd, 1962 in Kansas City, KS., to Kenneth & Bertha Ingram. He grew up in the Rural Bonner Springs / Linwood area and graduated from Linwood High School in the class of 1980. Sammie worked at the COOP in Lawrence, KS. and then went into HVAC, most recently was working at Temp-Con in Olathe, KS. Over the years Sammie enjoyed going to concerts and the local music scene. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Nicholas Cade Ingram, sisters; Susan Barnett, Faye Lawson, Anna Wayne Gossett, brothers; Jack Killingsworth, Jim Ingram, Carl Killingsworth and nephews; Richard Huffman and Greg Killingsworth.
Survivors include his sons Zach Ingram and wife Audrea of Bonner Springs, KS. and Seth Hunter-Ingram of Bonner Springs, KS., two grandchildren Nick & Felicity Ingram. His significant other Madonna Staus, his previous wife Susie Ingram, his brother-in-law Jerry Barnett, nephews; Jon Barnett and wife Coy of Basehor, KS., and Scott Barnett of Bonner Springs, KS. as well as several extended family and many friends.
