Ryan Stoway
Christian “Ryan” Stoway, age 14, of Edwardsville, Kansas passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 as the result of a tragic accident. Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday, June 28th and the Funeral will be 11am Tuesday, June 29th both at the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church (425 W. Morse Bonner Springs, KS. 66012), burial will follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Bonner Springs High School Athletics or the Midwest Transplant Network. Ryan’s legacy will be honored for years to come, for he was a tissue donor. “He will live on in our hearts along with every person he helps with his generous gifts.”

Ryan was born on August 2nd, 2006 in Kansas City, Missouri and is the eldest of two children born to Christian & Alexis (Greer) Stoway. Ryan grew up in Edwardsville and had just finished his Freshman year at Bonner Springs High School, where he loved playing Football. Ryan also loved being outdoors Fishing, Shooting Guns, Shooting his Bow & Arrow, and just being with his friends and family. Family was everything to Ryan and he was proud to be related to each and every one of them. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Richard Stoway.
Survivors include his parents Christian & Alexis and his sister Natalie all of the home. Maternal grandparents Timothy & Nancy Greer of Raytown, MO., paternal grandparents Deborah & Donald Michalski of Kansas City, KS., maternal great-grandmother JoAnn Greer of St. Joseph, MO. As well as aunts, uncles and cousins: Luke & Rizel Greer and children Tony & Michael, Tad & Sam Greer and children Emmy, Tori and one on the way, Lauren and Geoff Mildenhall and children Jeremy & Julia, Amanda (Stoway) and Steven Gandy and children Nathan & Brynnly, Dylan & Michelle Michalski and children Lane & Lexi, Paul & Lisa Michalski as well as many teammates, coaches, classmates – that he thought highly of, and friends – that he thought of as brothers.
