Obituary for Ryan M. McDonnell
Ryan M. McDonnell, age 40, of Basehor, Kansas passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Visitation will be 5-7pm, with the Rosary Service at 7pm, both Tuesday, June 18 at the Holy Angels Catholic Church. There will be a time for Sharing of Stories following the Rosary Service. Funeral Mass will be 11am, Wednesday, June 19 also at the Church. Family committal in Omaha, NE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the “Community of the Lamb” of the little Sisters and little Brothers, or the Adoration Chapel at the Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Ryan was born on April 18, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by twin sisters in 1981, a brother Jared McDonnell in 2009, his maternal grandmother Janice Nesci, and paternal grandparents Jim & Donna McDonnell.
Survivors include his parents Tim &Jeri McDonnell of the home, eight brothers; T.J., Kyle and wife Sarah, Kevin and wife Beth, Matthew and wife Staci, Andrew, Sean and Keith. Seven sisters; Shannon and husband Brandon, Erin and husband Ryan, Lauren, Meghan, Caitlyn, Madison and Paityn. Paternal grandfather Jim Nesci, many Aunts and Uncles, 20 nieces and nephews, as well as several other extended family and friends.
