Obituary for Russell Henry Clark

Russell Henry Clark, 80, of Belton, MO, formerly of Overland Park, KS passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. Russell was born on November 4, 1940 in Kansas City, KS. He graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1958.
For many years, Russell was the owner of Morrison Meats in Overland Park, KS, as well as serving as a butcher at other local stores including McGonigle’s Market. He was a proud member of the U.F.C.W. District Union Local Two.
Russell had a strong commitment to his family and faith. He would never hesitate to travel anywhere in the country to visit family and to attend his grandchildren’s events. Russell was a fan of country music, and he could often be found cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. A gentle and kind man, Russell would do anything for those he loved. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A devoted husband, Russell was preceded in death by Madeleine L. Clark, his wife of 39 years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Jack Clark and Opal Clark (Hale), and brother, David Glenn Clark.
Russell is survived by daughter, Marsha and husband Jeff Wiard of Overland Park, KS and their children, Tyler and Jessica; son, Jim and wife Susan Clark of Lenexa, KS and their children, Mason and Trevor; son, Rob and wife Tami Clark of Fulton, MO and their children, William and J.T.; daughter, Michelle and husband Chris Noland of Peoria, AZ and their children, Sarah and Andrew. Also surviving are two sisters, Sandi Carpenter and Jeannie Bush: and three brothers, Ronnie Hale, Donnie Clark and Paul Clark.
