Obituary for Ronald Dean Jackson

Ronald Dean Jackson, 55, of Basehor, Kansas, passed away on June 30, 2020 peacefully in his sleep.
Ron was born on April 30, 1965 in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduating from Basehor High School in 1983, he went on to serve in the Navy.
In 1982, he met SanDee, and they wed in 1984, going on to have 3 children, Lauren, Rachel and Sarah.
Ron was known for his problem-solving ability. He could fix just about anything. He saw the world differently than most and walked to the beat of his own drum. Ron could make anyone smile and had the most loud and infectious laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, gardening and searching for a good deal on anything that he might have needed to solve one more problem.
Ron was also a passionate chef and could often be found in the kitchen cooking up another meal with ample amounts of Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper and jalapenos. If the meal didn’t make him sweat, it wasn’t hot enough!
Anyone who knew Ron knew that he was a loving father and wonderful husband. He was also a devoted friend to all who knew him and would never pass up anyone who needed his help and expertise.
He is survived by his wife, SanDee, his daughters; Lauren, Rachel and Sarah, his granddaughter Kiah and his sister, Karen.
There will be a private memorial and service for his immediate family due to COVID restrictions and a burial service to follow.
