I loved Rob's ready smile, infectious laugh, and genuine sweetness. I will always remember my cousin, "Robbie," as a kid during the summers who was in constant motion--ever ready to be part of the next "caper" someone was contriving. As an adult, he was more than just a "Fish Whisperer;" he was the real deal-a guy trying to do his best each day--what more could one ask? I loved how much he enjoyed being with family--laughing and joking but also being able to share his serious side. Most importantly, I admired his growing faith in Christ--a fact which brings comfort to so many at this time. May you have peaceful waters in Heaven, Rob. Love you!

Robbie was always the kid that was up at the crack of dawn on opening day of trout fishing at Lake of the Forest. He always had his limit before anyone else. I think his secret was canned corn, or Velveeta cheese. Plus he whispered to them as he slowly walked along the banks.
I remember enjoying all of the times we went on hunting trips together with Pop's Calendar. I pray you and he are enjoying a long talk. Miss ya little brother.
