Robert Allen Reavis, 55, of Basehor, KS passed away Thur., Aug. 27, 2020 at Providence Medical Center in KC, KS. Visitation from 5 to 7 pm, and Memorial Service at 7 pm, Wed., Sept. 2, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Robert was born on June 13, 1965 in Lawrence, KS to Earl and Katherine Reavis. He received multiple certifications in Automotive Technology from the MMC- Longview Automotive Program and was a certified Master Technician for over 30 years. He married Lori West on July 11, 1987. He was the father of one daughter, Jennifer, and two sons, Tyler and Kyle. Robert was a great lover of music and could often be found strumming the strings of his guitar or listening to The Eagles’ Greatest Hits. Robert had a deep love for cars and racing as a sport. Although Robert was oftentimes quiet and introspective, he had a warm heart, an excellent sense of humor, and a caring smile. He taught his children the value of family and hard work. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Earl. He is survived by his three children, Jennifer, Tyler, and Kyle, granddaughter Adellely, his mother Katherine, sister Chrystiene, brothers Earl “Butch” Jr., and Russell, and several nieces and nephews.
