Obituary for Ralph Clifford Stevens

Ralph C. Stevens, 73, of Basehor, Kansas passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. Burial of ashes will be held at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery with Military Honors.
Ralph was born on January 6, 1949 to Kenneth and Willa Stevens and grew up in the Piper area of Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Piper High School in 1967. After graduation, Ralph proudly served in the United States Navy as a jet engine mechanic and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He later retired from Johnson County Water District after 30 years. Ralph’s hobbies included playing his many guitars, collecting classic cars and spending time with family and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenny Stevens and sister Patricia Dennison. Survivors include sister Ardith Slote of Tonganoxie, Kansas, brother-in-law Norris Dennison of Kansas City, Kansas, many nieces and nephews and loved ones.
Family and friends are invited to share their stories, photos and fond memories of Ralph at a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 6th at 6:30 p.m. at Venue 1235 located at 1235 North 3rd Street, Lawrence, Kansas.
