Obituary for Peggy Anne Fanska

Peggy Anne Fanska
Peggy Anne Fanska, 71, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021. Peggy Anne was
born August 3, 1950 to the late Rudolph Robert Fanska, Sr. and Janet Retzer Fanska in Kansas
City, MO. She graduated from Oak Park High School in 1968. Peggy went on to earn a bachelor’s
degree in English from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and to participate in continuing
education toward a Medical Career in Texas. Peggy was a lovely lady, always kind and loving
throughout her challenges and hardships. Her life’s dreams were tragically cut short in early
adulthood due to mental illness and her loss from that time forward remains deeply grieved by a
family who loved her very much. Peggy is survived by four sisters, Mariann Jane Fanska; Janet
Lucille Fanska; Nancy Lou Pifer and husband Timothy; Elizabeth Ann Krispin and husband
Stephen; three brothers, Charles Lee Fanska and wife Vickie; John Anthony Fanska and wife Vicki;
William David Fanska; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Peggy Anne is preceded in death
by her parents, her brother, Rudolph Robert Fanska Jr., and her sister Susan Lynn Fanska. A
Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. (Central Time) Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Alden
Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. For those unable to attend in person, Peggy’s
service will be livestreamed on Zoom. The family suggests in lieu of flowers to commemorate
Peggy’s life by doing a random act of kindness for someone today, contribute to your favorite
charity in Peggy’s name, and/or by planting a tree in Peggy’s memory. Online condolences may
