Obituary for Paul "Steve" Alexander

It is with great sadness that we make this announcement.
Paul "Steve" Alexander passed away Sunday April 24th, 2022
at his home. Steve was born February 10, 1947 in Texas.
He moved to Bonner Springs as a child.
He graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1965. Steve
worked as a union carpenter for over 30 years before retiring at age 55.
He then had time for his passions. They were amassing a large collection
of antiques, golfing, trap shooting and spinning yarns...many, many yarns.
His son Rich will miss their many conversations over anything and
everything. He was always there, whether it was working on a home improvement
project or dropping off a surprise without provocation. Though not biologically related,
their love was one of father and son.
His neighbors called him the Sheriff. He would patrol the neighborhood offering advice
and help on whatever project they were working on whether asked or not.
Steve will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends he has made over the years.
His final resting place will be beside his mother at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
