Pamela Kay Breuer
Pamela Kay Breuer, age 76, of Basehor, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 27th, 2022. On Tuesday, Feb. 1st her family will receive friends at a visitation from 1-2pm at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, followed by a Graveside Funeral Service at 2:30pm in the Glenwood Cemetery near Basehor.
Pam was born on January 3rd, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas and grew up in Bonner Springs, KS. She married Lowell W. Breuer on Nov. 3rd, 1965 and together they made their home in the Fairmount area north of Basehor where they raised their children. Pam had worked for over 20 years at K-Mart in Leavenworth and later as a “Lunch Lady” with the Lansing School district.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell W. Breuer in 1991, her mother Virginia Sparks, her brother Ed Forbach and by a granddaughter Jessica Breuer.
Survivors include her four children: David Breuer and husband Michael Dodd of Kansas City, MO., Richard Breuer of Basehor, Jennifer Brown and husband Steve of Lowell, AR., and Chuck Breuer of Basehor. Brother Larry Forbach and wife Sharon. Six grandchildren: Heather, Hope, Lowell, Emily, Ricky and Emerson. Two great-grandsons: Hunter and Jacob. As well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Leavenworth County Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels program.
