Obituary for ODean Justice

ODean Justice passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born on January 16, 1938, in Waldron Arkansas. Growing up in Waldron and Fort Smith Arkansas he had many adventures to pass on when he and his family would visit there. During most of his adult life, he was a resident of Wyandotte County in Kansas City Kansas.
ODean worked as a maintenance engineer at Gustin-Bacon/Certain-Teed Fiberglass and at Lake City Ammunition.
He had a love for classic cars, fast cars, and racing. He also loved the Chiefs and KU basketball, but his family always came first.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elsie Ledwig, sister Willa May Sutton and son Richard Justice.
ODean leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Carmen Justice. Son’s Darrin (June) Justice of KCK and Randal (Linda) Justice of KCK. Daughter-in-law Geula Justice of West Branson, MO. Sister Catherine Sower of KCK. Grandchildren Nathan Justice of West Branson, MO, Holly (Tony) Justice of Fort Worth, TX, Justin (Heide) Justice of Shawnee, KS, Jason (Jessica) Justice of KCK, Raven (Brooke) Justice of KCK and Ryan Justice of KCK. Great Grandchildren Natalie, Nadija, Kaius, Arkyn, Jameson, Anabelle, Halen, Roman, Dominic, Lane, Gavin, and Colt. Many, many nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held upstairs at The Kansas City Kansas #1999 Moose Lodge at 6621 Turner Drive, KC, KS 66111 on April 16, 2023, starting promptly at 1:30 with a celebration to follow.

In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to St Jude’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project. Both can be done online or by mail (with a donation form included which is available online). If you are unable to get online, we will have copies of the above-mentioned forms available at the services.
