Obituary for Norma Lee Rose
Norma L Rose (Vannoy), 86, of Bonner Springs, KS. Passed away on November 24, 2022 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Celebration of Life will be from 1 to 4 pm, Sunday May 28th, 2023 at the Linwood Community Center in Linwood, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to: Alzheimer’s Association. Norma was born on May 28, 1936 in Casey County, Kentucky. She retired from the Linwood Greenhouse in 2001.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Arlie Vannoy and Edytha Vannoy (Wethington); one sister Jolene Patterson and two brothers Raymond Vannoy and Arvil Dean Vannoy.
Norma is survived by four sons Roger Rose (Terri), Don Rose, Steve Rose and John Rose (Janice). One daughter Janie Rose. Nine Grandchildren Allison O’Brien (James), Aaron Rose, Austin Rose, Bob Rose (Becca), Jacob Rose (Christina), Jarod Rose (Andrew), Amanda Cook, Kenny Ballard (Samantha) and Tyler Ballard (Samantha). 17 –great grandkids Andrew, Kaleigh, Emily, Cash, Brady, Olivia, Nathan, Ella, Jameson, Emmy, Ethan, Ava, Raylinn, Boyd, Zayda, Chapin and Arlo. Three brothers Dale Vannoy (Jackie), Doyle Vannoy (Peggy) and Gerald Vannoy (Phyllis). One sister Goldia Kincaid (Tom) and lots of nieces and nephews.
