MILLIE E. YOUNG-DENNIS
Mildred Evelyn Young-Dennis, 87, of Kansas City, KS passed away Sat., July 28, 2018 at the Twin Oaks Nursing and Rehab. in Lansing, KS. Visitation from 1 to 2 pm, and Memorial services at 2 pm, on Thur., Aug. 2, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Millie was born March 21, 1931 in Bagnel, MO and grew up in the Garnett, KS area. Living most of her life in the KC, KS area. She enjoyed working for many years at the T.G.&Y store at Wyandotte Plaza in KC, KS. She especially loved to sing in her husbands band "Dave Young and the Western Swing Band". She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas B. and Pearl Hayes; one brother Thomas G. Hayes; one sister Delores (Winkie) Monroe; her first husband David Young in 1995 and later by her second husband John Dennis in 2012. Millie is survived by two children Cheryl Anne Dolinar and her husband Michael of Bonner Springs, KS and Tom Young and his wife LuAnn of Leavenworth, KS. Two sisters Delaine Burnett of Branson, MO and Cleo Yoder of Lawrence, KS. Five grandchildren Chris Courtney, Lisa Brown, Bryan Dolinar, Karli Young and Thomas B. Young and 12 great grandchildren.
