Obituary for Michael Allen Lisenbee
Michael “Mike” Allen Lisenbee, age 59, of Linwood, Kansas passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home. His family will be planning a celebration of his life at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Mike was born on June 19, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas, and was the youngest of two sons born to Robert “RG” & Juanita (Given) Lisenbee. He grew up in Linwood and graduated from Linwood High School in the Class of 1981. Mike was a jack of all trades including roofing, laying tile, etc. In recent years he began Glass Blowing, making industrial lights. Mike loved to golf and would have been at the golf course from sun up to sun down if he could. Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his three children: Amber Lisenbee of Linwood, KS., Sean Lisenbee and fiancee Taylor Ham of Eudora, KS., Robbi Lycan of Eudora, KS., 12 grandchildren, one brother Robert Lisenbee, Jr. of California and a cousin that was more like a sister – Kathleen Roberts of Kansas City, MO.
