Michael Douglas Howard, 67, died at his home in Bonner Springs, Kansas on December 21, 2019. Michael was born December 24, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan. He was the son of Reverend Sargent First Class Roy J Howard and Nina Alice Hicks Howard. Michael worked in radio and television beginning in the early 70s until starting his own video production company. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by 1 daughter, Michelle Lafferty, of Overland Park and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Richard (Debbie) & Stephen, and 1 sister, Kathryn (Ed) Bland and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial will be held prior to his ashes being interred at the family cemetery in Athens, Texas.
