MICAH J. WALSH
Micah John Walsh, 42, of Olathe, KS passed away on January 10, 2023 in Seattle, WA. Graveside committal service will be at 12:30 PM, Friday, February 17, at Leavenworth National VA Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to City Union Mission 1100 E. 11th St. Kansas City, MO 64106. Micah was born on October 5, 1980 in Colorado Springs, CO. He had attended school in Olathe and at MidAmerica Nazarene University. He was an instructor and black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Micah later served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He was stationed in Okinawa and spent time in Australia and South Korea. He enjoyed and was an accomplished artist in painting, woodwork and sculpting. Micah was preceded in death by his grandfather Rev. John Kissee in 2019. He is survived by his parents Michael and Patricia Walsh of Belton, MO; two children Nathaneal Walsh and Haelee Walsh; his maternal grandmother Sarah Kissee of Kansas City, KS and one brother, Matthew Walsh of Lawrence, KS
