Obituary for Marvin Louis Lovsky

MARVIN L. LOVSKY
Marvin Louis Lovsky, 78, of Lawrence, KS passed away on Tue., Oct. 1, 2019 at his home. Visitation from 10 to 11 am and Funeral at 11 am on Fri., Oct. 4, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in the Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens in Shawnee, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Douglas County Visiting Nurse Hospice in care of the funeral home. Marvin was born on August 22, 1941 in Kansas City, KS and grew up in the Armourdale area and later lived in the Bonner Springs area for over 35 years and few years ago moved to the Eudora and Lawrence area. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Marines for over 10 years serving in both Korea and Vietnam. Marvin worked for many years managing the Bonner I.G.A. Grocery Store and was also on the Bonner Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Later in life he really enjoyed driving the buss for handicapped young adults. He also loved fishing through the years with family and friends.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 49 years Constance Lovsky of the home. Five daughters Schrelle Baber of Belton, MO; Delores Lovsky of Belton, MO; Denna Dressler her husband Frank of Lawrence, KS; Nettie Lovsky of Belton, MO and Michelle Lovsky of Bonner Springs, KS. 11 grandchildren Tanya, Frankie, Stephen, Stevie, Cassidy, Garrett, Hillary, Sheyenne, Kohlton,Tristyn and Tamara and 9 great grandchildren.
