Obituary for Margaret Pearl Wilson
Margaret Pearl Wilson, age 95, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2023 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 10-11 am with the Funeral beginning at 11 am, both Saturday, Feb. 25th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Margaret was born on December 4th, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated from Argentine High School. Margaret married LeRoy “Buck” Wilson on August 10, 1946, and together they made their home in Kansas City, Kansas where they raised their three children. She had worked her entire career as a bookkeeper at the Western Auto Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. In her retirement, Margaret enjoyed playing Bingo, Gardening, and getting together with her family.
She was proceeded in death by her husband LeRoy “Buck” Wilson in 1992, and by her two siblings: Pete Beatty and Lorene Bunch.
Survivors include her three children: David Wilson, Brenda Wilson, and Audrey Wade, and her husband Robert, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
