Hello, not sure where to begin but Lori was a wonderful and caring lady when I saw her at MLC center and always smiling when you came in. Enjoyed seeing her at MLC when my daughter Abby went there and she was so wonderful and kind to her and to all the kids. She will be so greatly missed by everyone. May God be with the family and give them peace in this sudden loss of Lori. Kirk Mary and Abby Gossage

Amber and I were pregnant at the same time when I was working at McDanield preschool. Lori was so excited we were going to have little ones at the same time. When Murphy arrived into the world, Lori treated her like one of her own. She loved Murphy with all her heart and took such joy in watching Murf and Braxton grow up together through the district childcare downstairs and all their time hanging out by Lori’s desk in the front office after school each day. In addition to being so sweet to my daughter, Lori was an amazing friend and coworker. She was passionate about our sweet little preschool program, and took joy in all of the children who attended there. She helped each and every family with their enrollment process, special education paperwork, transportation, supplies and funding for the program, etc... anything you could think of Lori was right there to help us. She believed in what we were doing at MLC, and was an invaluable member of our team. She cared for us all as friends, too, in addition to being a great coworker. We were all so sad when the program was modified and our positions were spread outward from MLC. We were all heartbroken. I went to see Lori once she settled into her new position at the main office in KCK for KCKPS. She was brave and strong throughout that difficult transition. She handled it with dignity and determination. I was so amazed by her. I can’t bare to think of the world without her Light in it. We will never be the same and have all lost someone so special and unique. My condolences to Dale, Amber, and Family. I’m so, so sorry for your loss.
