Obituary for Linda Sue Baehr
Linda Sue Baehr, age 73, of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020 at her home. A Memorial Mass will be 11am, Friday, Nov. 6th, 2020 at Cure’ of Ars Catholic Church in Leawood, Kansas. Burial will follow at a later date at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri.
Linda was born on November 20, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri and she was the youngest of two children born to Paul & Vesta (Hamlin) Baehr. Linda was raised in the Kansas City area and graduated from St. Teresa’s Academy in the Class of 1964. She attended business college and worked her entire career in the Oil Industry in Kansas City, Tulsa and Denver. In 2003 she retired and moved back to Kansas City to care for her mother, who was also her best friend. On her return to Kansas City she became a member of the Cure’ of Ars Catholic Church.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her brother John Baehr and his wife Mary of Overland Park, KS., one niece Malinda Brandenburg and her husband Damian of Stilwell, KS., one great-nephew Cyrus Brandenburg, a dear cousin Lonnie Hogan of Kansas City, MO. as well as Linda’s close friends.
