Lillie M. (Knipp) Gray, age 83, of Bonner Springs, Kansas and previously of Olathe, KS and Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at home on the family farm. Visitation will be 1-2pm, with the Funeral at 2pm, both Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the University of Kansas Health System, Center for Advanced Heart Care and mailed to the funeral home.
Lillie was one of seven children born to Charley and Cora (Fenton) Knipp on November 25, 1935. Lillie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry G. Gray. She was also the dear mother of Sharon (David) Shearman, Debra (Robert) Ford, Ronald (Judy) Gray and Michelle (Toby) Egan, and loving grandmother of Heather (Jeff) Stiles, Christopher (Dana) Shearman, Sarah (Mark) Maxfield, Michael (Cora) Ford, Lindsay Ford, Jennifer (Phillip) Townsend, Anna Marie (Bryan) Creidler, Stephen Gray, Kevin Gray, Logan Egan and Seth Egan. Lillie was also the proud great-grandmother of Anya, Kiera, and Micah Stiles; Nora, Audra, and Emma Shearman; Noah, Ezra, and Jonah Maxfield; Stella and John (Jack) Townsend; and Theodore Creidler. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Ann Elizabeth, three brothers Charles Jr., Bill and Bob. Lillie is survived by her two sisters Clara (Tom) Gray of Bonner Springs, and Ann Cline of Bessemer, AL. Lillie loved to listen to country music, spend time on the farm and travel with her family. Lillie cherished her many friends and neighbors of Bonner Springs.
