Obituary for Leslie Marvin Lynn

Leslie Marvin Lynn, 54, of Overland Park, KS, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, March 3.
Leslie was born on May 25 in Kansas City, KS. He graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School and Kansas State University. He loved animals, photography, playing the piano, gardening and cooking, (especially peanut brittle at Christmas time). He received The Good Samaritan Project Volunteer Service Award. Leslie is survived by his Mother, Carolyn Lynn of Overland Park, KS; his Sister and Brother-in-law, Julie and Tim Davis of Lenexa, KS; a niece and nephew and four great niece and nephews; and long time friend, Randy Davis. He was predeceased by his Father, Marvin (Bud) Lynn.
Memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the KC Pet Project.

I knew Les dating back to high school, and had a chance to reconnect through Facebook. I will keep all of those who loved him in my thoughts, along with warm memories of Les. May he rest in peace.
